Timothy “Pete” Kilby, age 62, of Townsend passed away Sunday February 26, 2023, at his home. Pete was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend who always had a smile and positive attitude that will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was proceeded in death by his parents Odell (Betty) Kilby, grandparents Joe “Pa” (Mabel) Dunn, Ernest (Edna) Kilby, Uncle James Wesley Dunn. Pete is survived by his daughters Jessica Kilby (Shayne Fuller) and Nikki Jo Kilby (Chris Huskey), grandchildren Addisyn “Bug” Fuller, Dalton, Logan and Covelynn Kilby, twin sister Tammy (Ernie) Proffitt, brothers Delbert (Judy) Kilby, Terry Jo (Sheila) Kilby, Jeff (Missy) Kilby and Scott (Christy) Kilby, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special Nephew Chris (Melanie) Kilby and their children and all of Papaw Pete’s grandchildren. A celebration of life will be on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 6 to 8 p.m. at RIO Townsend, 325 Webb Road, Townsend, TN, Rev. Fate Green will be officiating.
