Michael “Red” Luety

Michael Lawrence Luety, “Red”, 49, of Knoxville, who at times has lived in Missoula, Montana, died March 7, 2023, due to multiple severe medical complications.  He was born June 22, 1973 in Franklin Park, IL.  His full family moved to Missoula in October 1978.  As he grew up, he lived in several places with his mother before settling in Knoxville.   He was preceded in death by his step-father, Douglas Bonner.  He is survived by his loving wife, Stacy; his four children, Anton and Mercedes, both of Billings, MT, and Ruby and Gilbert, both of Knoxville. Mother, Kitty Bonner of Knoxville; father and wife, Fred Luety and Tomi Kent of Missoula; brother, Ben Luety (Treena) of Kirkland, WA, and his step-sister, Nicole Kent (Jim Davidson) of Corvallis, OR; nieces, Cheyenne, Haley; and nephew, Zak. Mike is also survived by many children whom he loved as his own, who over the years, have considered him as their step-father. Red loved music, playing bass guitar, and riding motorcycles. He will be missed dearly.
