admin • Dec 14, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Marvin “Randy” Stafford on December 10, 2022, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Born in Knoxville on March 27, 1967, Randy attended Fort Sanders Educational Development Center. Throughout his life, Randy excelled in small engine repair, and he was adept at repairing all types of lawnmowers and other lawn care equipment.

Randy was a special person with a beautiful soul. Randy had the special gift of touching the hearts of all who met and interacted with him. He attended North Hills Baptist Church in Knoxville.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Patsy Stafford, and survived by his two loving sisters and their families: Angela Stafford and her son Jordan, Lisa Carter and her husband Alain, and their children Christine, and her daughter Savannah, Christopher, and Jacob. He is also survived by his long-time dear friend Dottie, with whom he shared many years together. Special thanks to his caregivers Sherrara, Brandon, and Chuck for their tireless efforts to bring joy and happiness to Randy’s life, and to his medical care team, led by Dr. Syed Ahmed.

Interment will be officiated by Pastor Mike McKinney at the Knoxville National Cemetery (939 Tyson Street, Knoxville, TN 37917) on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 12:00 PM with a Celebration of Life to be scheduled at a later date.
