Joseph Stanley Carter, age 58, of Knoxville passed unexpectedly at home. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Mary Carter; son, Dewayne; and sister, Janice. Survived by son, Josh; sister and brother-in-law, Jeannie and Rick Williams; brother and sister-in-law, James and Desiree Carter; devoted cousin Sabrina Javins; and several other family members. Due to the global pandemic, there will be no gathering for services.
