Gene Burnett Dill, 85, of Knoxville, peacefully went to be with the Lord surrounded by his family Wednesday June 23rd.He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patricia Pierce Dill, daughters, Kimberley Dill Blake (John R. Blake, Jr MD), Pamala L. Dill, grandchildren, Dr Andria Blake Onishi (Scott), Dr Joshua (Stephanie) Blake, Rev Kelley (Candace) Blake, Patrick (Abigail) Blake, great-grandchildren Akira and Ronin Onishi, Jaylyn and Lyton Blake.Our thanks to Mount Harmony Baptist Church for their support and prayers, and our hospice caregivers Angie, Britney, Jessica, Karren, Dee.Graveside services will be held at East Tennessee State Cemetery on John Sevier Highway on Thursday July 1 at 12:30.
